She is survived by: her daughter Jessica Hess; her grandchildren, Bradley, Bailee and Brooklyn; her siblings, Carolyn Young (Guy) of Gold Hill, NC, Eddie Carrier (Aurora) of Elliston, VA and Alan Carrier (Pam) of Raleigh, NC; her nephews, John Young, Christopher Young and Daniel Carrier; her niece Kelly Carrier; and her cousins, Alfred Perry, Jay Perry, Albert Perry, Phillip Perry, David Perry, Kathy Sparks, Tom Helton and Wesley Helton.
