We are sad to announce that on June 28, 2024, at the age of 91, Pearle Davis Thompson of Salem, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James "Buddy" Thompson; her son David Thompson; and her sisters, Emily Whitehurst and Mary-Lou "Boogie" Lovern. She is survived by: her daughter Kay Thompson; her granddaughter Taylor Shifflett (Matthew Shifflett); her great grandchildren, Aysia, Braiden and Bentley Shifflett; and also Laney Mofield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations in her memory can be made to St. Mark's Lutheran church.
