He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Davis and Manilla Davis; his brothers, Robert L, Mason T, Jack L, Harden L and Curt Davis; and his stepdaughter Gaye Pendelton.
He is survived by: his wife Joann Davis; his siblings, George Davis, Ronda Harris, Jeanette Cockram (Gary), Jill Hylton (Richard), Linda Davis, Dorothy Davis, Gail Davis, Cheri Davis and Carolyn Reed (Menis); and his stepchildren, Brenda Stegale (Calvin), Clifton Ginger (Myra) and Charles Settles.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lotz Funeral Home (1001 Franklin Rd SW, Roanoke, VA 24016). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Lotz Funeral Home Roanoke Chapel (1001 Franklin Rd SW, Roanoke, VA 24016).
