Michael Dennis Witt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Dennis Witt of Salem, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 29, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart L. Witt and Frances P. Witt; and his siblings, Teresa Taylor (Jay) and Herman Witt (Peggy). He is survived by: his wife Doris Hix Witt; his daughters, Melissa Floyd and Tessa Rider; his grandchildren, Lydia, Grant, Brayden Floyd and Bailey Rider; his siblings, Charlotte McBride (Jerry), Gary Witt (Bev), Terry Witt (Judy) and David Witt (Libby); and his brother-in-law James Hix (Rosanne).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home (305 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153).
