She was predeceased by: her parents, Terry West and Ima West; her husband James "Jimmie" William Turner; her son James "Jamie" West Turner; and her siblings, Terry, John, Frank, Richard West and Eura West Banner.
She is survived by: her son Steven Turner (Marycatherine); her grandsons, Christopher Turner (Erica) and James Turner; her great grandchild Jacob Turner; her stepgrandson Carter Cecil; and also Helen. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel (305 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
