It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margie Boothe Wright of Salem, Virginia, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Abijah Boothe and Weda Peters Boothe; her husband Thomas Greer Wright (Jimmy); her son Phillip Greer Wright; her son-in-law James Francis Tobey, Jr.; her siblings, James, Joyce, Dale and Linda; and her brothers-in-law, Ray Epperly and Frank Proffitt.
She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca Wright Tobey of Botetourt County; her grandchildren, Matthew W. Tobey (Aprille) and Heather Tobey Dudley (Michael); her great grandchildren, Morgan, Wyatt Tobey, Kiele and Remington Dudley; her siblings, Wayne Boothe (Mary), Lois Boothe Reynolds (Wayne) and Dorothy Boothe Proffitt; and her sister-in-law Maxine Epperly. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
