He was predeceased by: his parents, Merritt Bailey and Margaret Bailey; and his siblings, Merritt Bailey II and Margaret Barbabella. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his sons, John and Chris; his brother Gordon (Joann); his sister-in-law Jerri Lewis (Andy); his niece Mary Margaret Bailey (Boo); and his nephews, Merritt Palmer Bailey III (Karen) and Daniel Lineberry (Katrina).
A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sherwood Memorial Park (1250 E Main St, Salem, VA 24153).
