We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2024, at the age of 60, Jim Butler (Salem, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Jim may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kimberly Stump Butler; and his parent Shirley Bentley Dickerson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (912 Florida St, Salem, VA 24153).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Botetourt County Fire Department or Calvary Baptist Church in Salem.
