She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Roy and Hattie Gaye Holt; and her husband John Edd Stanley. She is survived by: her children, Nannie Hoosier, Mary Hodge (Alvin) and Fred Stanley (Jenny); her grandchildren, John David Hoosier, Dana Hurt (Scott), Wesley Hodge (Amanda), Amanda (Steve), Wade, Beth Mabes (Travis), Tommy Hodge (Melissa), Jamie Lovecraft (Amanda), Chris Yarbrough (Tabitha), Gracie Yarbrough and John Edward Stanley; her great grandchildren, Colton Mabes (Damie Cromwell), Cooper Mabes, Carsyn Mabes and Reagan Hurt; her sister Patsy Telligman; and her brother-in-law George Robertson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel (305 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Sherwood Memorial Park (1250 E Main St, Salem, VA 24153).
