She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lorraine R. Chelf and Harris J. "Jack" Chelf; her children, Leigh Smith and Stephen "Steve" Smith; her grandchildren, Heather Frumkin (Scott) and Justin Smith (Lauren); and her close friends, Dolley and Scarlet.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the East Hill Cemetery (730 E Main St, Salem, VA 24153).
