For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Wright and Ida Wright; his daughter Kim; and his sister Glenna. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Maiden Wright; his sister Betty (Richard); and his daughters, Sherry (Glenn) and Robin. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home (305 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel (305 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153).
