She was predeceased by: her husband Horace Smith; her children, Tim Smith and Susan Kingery; and her close friend Paul Dickerson. She is survived by: her brother Morris McNeil (Beatrice); her children, Vickie Carder (Billy) and Ron Smith (Lee); her grandchildren, Jacob Kingery, Emily, Garrison Smith, Samantha Meade (Eric) and Bailey Dickerson (Tony); her nephew Kenneth McNeil; and her great grandchildren, Henderson, Callie Meade and Maston Dickerson.
