He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert Novell and Rhoda Ilice York Novell; and his brother Charles Robert Novell. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jackson Novell; his sons, Jeremiah Leigh Novell, Salem and Andrew Douglas Novell (Alicia Lynn); his grandchildren, Luke, Andi-Grace, Jackson, Levi and Mila Novell; and his brother Jerry Leigh Novell (Susie).
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sw Virginia Veteran's Cemetery (5550 Bagging Plant Rd, Dublin, VA 24084).
