She was predeceased by: her parents, Irva Leasor and Bertha Howey Leasor; her former husband Joe Catron; her brother Chester Leasor; and her son-in-law Otis Switzer.
She is survived by: her spouse Salem; her daughter Grace Switzer; her granddaughter Ella Switzer; her brother Kenny Leasor (Betty); and her close friend Ann Whitenack. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home (305 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel - Main (305 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153).
