It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patsy Scalf (Saint Charles, Virginia), who passed away on January 17, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Burdine Scalf; her parents, James Bryson and Alice Bryson; and her siblings, Johnny Harold Bryson, Jimmy Darrell Bryson, Roger Dale Bryson and Shirley Bryson Jones.
She is survived by: her children, James B. Scalf, Jr. (Robin) of St. Charles, VA, Phillip Douglas Scalf of St. Charles, VA, Robin Cox of Woodway, VA and Cindy Scalf (Jonathan Baker) of St. Charles, VA.; her siblings, Goley Bryson (Janice) of St. Charles, VA, Dickie Bryson of Pennington Gap, VA, Charlotte Blevins of St. Charles, VA and Charmie Murphy of Pennington Gap, VA; and her close friend Bill Taylor. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
