He was predeceased by: his parents, Corbin Fields and Ordie Fields; his siblings, Doris Tritt and Jerry Fields; and his brother-in-law William Bryant.
He is survived by: his wife Martha J. Fields; his stepdaughters, Melissa S. Whited (Butch) of Robbins Chapel and Tonia Jones Lawson (Red) of Pennington Gap, VA.; his grandsons, Justin Greer (Brittany Chadwick) and Nicholas J. Greer; his great grandchildren, Landon Deirth and Julieona Greer; and his siblings, Susie Bryant (Rick Carter), Joyce Knuckles (Donnie Parsons), Mary Mooneyhan (Roger), Tom Fields and Richard Fields. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and numerous extended family.
