She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Brown Sr. and Lottie Taylor Brown; and her husband James E. Young Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Anthony Young and Mark Andre Young (Michelle); her grandsons, Michael Jr., MarTwaun and Mark II; her sisters, Pearl Minor, Gloria Samuel and Betty Brown; her great grandchildren, Makyia, Ma'Kari, Mia and Marley; her nephew Ronald Brown; her cousins, Doris Anderson, Ann Watkins and Florence Garnett; and her sister-in-law Gloria Robinson.
