It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth A Pleasants of Ruther Glen, Virginia, born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on July 29, 2022, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her sons, Rolando P. Pleasants (Sade) and Rick S. Pleasants; her grandchildren, Jaleiyah, Carree and Carmella Pleasants; her siblings, Elon T. Pleasants (Joann), Gloria M. Roberts-Porter, Ethel Hayes (Robert) and Shirley Pleasants; her aunt Deloise Sims-Mallory (William); and her nieces and nephews, Morgan Hayes, Gabrielle Hayes, Diamond Pleasants, Edward Roberts (Eddie) and Sam Roberts.
