We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2021, at the age of 63, Robert W. Thornburg III of Ruther Glen, Virginia, born in Richmond, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. and Dorothy V. Thornburg, Jr.; his brother Charles P. Smith; and his stepchildren, Jamie and Carrie Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Michelle Crabtree Thornburg; his daughters, Tonia Kovach (Chris) and Tiffany Thornburg (Shawn); his sisters, Anne Phillips, Nancy Miller, Carolyn Middlebrook, Patricia Leed and Cynthia Gemberling; his grandchildren, Kalli and Nathan McNair; and his brother Gino Myers (Terri).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Reel American Heroes Foundation, Woodbridge VA or the Emily Couric Cancer Center, Charlottesville VA.
