He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Braxton and Josephne Braxton; and his brothers, Tommy, Calvin, Elvis and Alton Braxton.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his children, Darnell, Wendell and Charmaine; his grandchildren, Charles, Jeremy, Brianna, Brandon, Darnell, Gabrielle, Carmella, Nathaniel and Daniel; his great grandchildren, Kassidy, Kalayshia, Riley, Michael and Gabriel; his sisters, Kathy Foster and Tammy Braxton; his children-in-law, Lynette Braxton and Nathaniel Brooks; his sisters-in-law, Alice Hicks, Ida Hill, Jane, Nadine and Rita Braxton; and his close friends, Mary, Sidney Page, Sandra and Arthur Stevens. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
