He was predeceased by: his siblings, Francis, Sr., Lewis, Henry, Leona Carter, Dorothy Bullock and Shirley Minter; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Street, Robert Carter, Kenny Utz, Harry Bullock, Ethel Barlow, Verna Barlow and Demple Barlow.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Barlow; his daughters, Carolyn Lane (John), Catherine "Pudney" Pitts (CJ), Betty Rae Johnson (Arthur) and Amy Sue Whittaker (Dennis); his grandchildren, Tracey Mallory (Ashley), Ashley Gray (Cathy), Matthew Johnson (Stephanie), Daniel Myers (Stacy), Alison Floyd (Tyler) and Seth Whittaker (Morgan Woody); his great grandchildren, Kailey, Kamryn Gray, Emerson, Nolan Mallory, Deacon, Ezra Johnson, Chelsea Shiflett, Owen Floyd, Colton Myers and Baby Myers; his siblings, Anthony (Evelyn) and Iola Utz; and his siblings-in-law, James Minter and Nancy Barlow. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Salem Baptist Church or Frog Level Fire and Rescue.
