He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Pastula and Franciska Stalma Pastula; his daughter Janie Coleman; and the mother of his children E. Lillian Pastula. He is survived by: his children, Sandra Pastula and Richard Pastula; his grandchildren, Amy Bailey, Paul Schwenk and Sara Velazquez; his great grandchildren, Danielle Bailey, Brenda McIntyre and Elijah Velazquez; and his great great grandchildren, Cooper, Colton, Courtney and George.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
