We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Linda Dolores Boone (Ruther Glen, Virginia). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George M. Boone and Lillian Wells Boone; her siblings, Sharon Mayberry of Temecula, CA, Pamela Sharpe of Ruther Glen, VA, George Boone of Sutton, VT and Geoffrey Boone of West Burke, VT; and her stepdaughter Heather Long of Taylor, TX. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Wright's Chapel UMC, Crater Community Hospice and/or the SPCA in her memory.

“I was so sorry to hear this. I attended Nursing School with Linda, and she was always so kind and such a good Nurse. When I heard she was an Army Nurse in Viet Nam, I was so proud to know her. I can’t imagine what she saw and experienced, but I know she was a terrific Nurse and comforting to all of her patients.”
