It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Edward Doherty Jr. of Ruther Glen, Virginia, who passed away on February 2, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. John Doherty and Mary Doherty of Massachusetts; his wife Diane Doherty; his sons, John Doherty III (Valentina), Erik Doherty (Claire) and Shane Doherty; and his grandchildren, Raynor, Herbert and Slone.
