She was predeceased by: her parents, Pendleton Burruss Smith and Ellen Roy Allen Smith; and her son Robert Alan Lane. She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Burruss Lane (Ginger) and Stuart Todd Lane (Kathy); her daughter-in-law Debra Carter Lane; her grandchildren, Chris (Jennifer), Becky (Mike), Andrea (Jamie) and Rob; her great grandchildren, Pelham, Kemper, Grace, Caroline, Maggie, Mosby and Brady; and her cousin Helen Hans Johnson (Allen).
