It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia Bell Freeman of Ruther Glen, Virginia, who passed away on June 18, 2021, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sons, Howard L. Carter and Joseph M. Carter; and her stepdaughter Mary Freeman. She is survived by: her daughter Ruth L. Carter; her granddaughters, Belinda Howell and Michelle Carter; her great grandchild Corrin Carter; her stepdaughter Joyce Byrd (Leroy); and her daughter-in-law Barbara J. Carter. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
