She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Lillian Turner Ware and Roy Fay Ware; her husband Robert Edward Young, Sr.; her son Robert Edward Young, Jr.; her brother Alfred Fay Ware; her half-brothers, Lee Alexander Putney and Richard Kemper Putney; and her sister-in-law Edith Young Hayes.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Young, Paul Young (Perry) and Cheryl Spotts (Meade); her grandchildren, Angela (Elan), Stephen, Emily (Sam), Sarah, Abby, Clair, Meade A and Ren; her great grandchild Lux; her sister-in-law Wren Putney; her children, Stephen and Angela; and her friends, Nags Head and Deltaville. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
