He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Lewis Ellsworth and Louise Shewbridge Sr.; his wife Jeanette Hodson; his children, Jean Oglevee (Mark), Margaret Allworth (Robert) and Charles Lewis Ellsworth Shewbridge III (Sandy); his grandchildren, Jason Oglevee (Galin), Amanda Fensterer (Matt), Courtney Flinton (Korey), Kathryn Hartzell, Charles Lewis Ellsworth, IV (Chase) and Jake Shewbridge; his stepgrandson Kirk Allworth; and his great grandchildren, Peyton Jay, Savannah Belle Oglevee and Nash Levi Flinton.

The family appreciates any memorial contributions in celebration of the beautiful life that Charles lived to be made to Wright's Chapel or Mary Washington Hospice.
