He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Steward, Laura Durrett and Dennie Carroll; and his stepgrandfather Tom Fuget. He is survived by: his daughter Cassidy Ann Carroll; the mother of his child Rebecca Carr; his mother Kimberly Surles (Susie); his stepfather Ryland Surles; his father Billy Carroll; his stepmother Tina Carroll; his grandmother Mary Fuget; his stepgrandmother Sharon Reedy; and his siblings, John Mark Foster, Kenneth Surles, Matt Surles, Anthony Surles, Shawn Surles, Michelle Maxxie, Brittany Carroll, Abigail Vaughn and Katelyn Vaughn. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Storke Funeral Home (111 S Main St, Bowling Green, VA 22427). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Quantico National Cemetery.
