He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Jones Barnes and James Edward Hale; his godparents, Lynn and Josephine Jones; and his sister Lois Mae Roye.
He is survived by: his wife Cherlon Jones; his children, Latonia Procter (William) and Anthony E. Jones, Jr.; his goddaughter Renay Neely; his grandchildren, Brittany, Talmesha, Dedrick, Demitri, Anthony III, Isaiah and Nakari; his great grandchildren, Leah, Chase, Aniyah, Germani and Paris; his siblings, Maurice Woods (Alice), Audrey Jones, Gwendolyn Foster and Sandra Johnson; his mother-in-law Mary L. Price; his aunt Ruth Beverly; and his friend James Spearman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
