She was predeceased by: her parents, Crawford Kepley and Clarice Pruitt Kepley; and her husband Ellison B Pickeral Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Angela Martin of Lynchburg, Donna Rakes (Charlie) of Rustburg, Bryant Pickeral (Amy) of Hurt and Boyd Pickeral of Rustburg; her siblings, Joan Soyars of Cascade and Charles Kepley (Sue) of Gretna; her grandchildren, Tracy McCool (Mike) of Abingdon, Phillip Behrns Falls Church (Phana), Trevor Wilson Bedford (Westie), Ashleigh Mathews Lyndhurst, Lindsey Pickeral, Davin, Alex Pickeral Moneta, Justin Woosley of Renan and Luke Woosley of Volens; and her great grandchildren, Finn, Will McCool, Star, Stella Mathews, Westlyn, Cameron Wilson, Ruby Jane Pickeral, Landon Woosley, Colton Woosley, Easton Woosley and Levi Woosley. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory-Lynchburg (220 Breezewood Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Gretna Cemetery.
