He was predeceased by: his mother Flora Mae Mullins. He is survived by: his wife Betty F. Cooper; his daughters, Samantha Kloster (Jack) and Tracy Fitzgerald (Jerry); his sister Betty Walton; and his close friend Danny Miller. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
