He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Bennett Pickeral and Lois Hankins Pickeral. He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Pickeral; his daughters, Sharon P. Kissinger, Gail P. Bruhnsen (Bob) and Tricia P. Guill (Willie); his grandchildren, Ashley, Christopher, Haylee, Autumn, Hannah, Aaron and Misty; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Val and Katherine.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
