Otis Jackson Maxey Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Otis Jackson Maxey of Rustburg, Virginia, born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on November 17, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Carlton Maxey and Annie Mae Maxey; and his siblings, Bill Maxey (Eloise), Madeline Maxey and Lee Maxey.

He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Keatts (Ed) of Evington; his siblings, Jim Maxey (Betty) of Lynchburg, David Maxey (Louella) of Virginia and Charlotte Seay (Billy) of Richmond; his grandchildren, Stefanie Keatts-Washburn (Nate) and Jenni Keatts; his great grandchildren, Kaily Washburn, Kaiden Washburn and Kainan Washburn; his niece Brenda Evans (David); and his close friends, Doris, James Edwards, David and Melanie Cash. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled Veterans Association.
