Nancy Schley Crist Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Schley Crist of Rustburg, Virginia, who passed away on July 18, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nancy Schley Crist to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Schley and Alice W. Schley; her husband Richard "Buddy" Crist Sr.; her children, Richard "Ricky" Crist Jr. and Sharon Crist Rakes; her brother Billy W. Schley; and her half-brother Ray Witt.

She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Crist Burgess (Titus); her grandchildren, Tara Burgess, Keith Burgess, Troy Burgess (Crystal), Crystal Burgess Hicks (Joel), Jaclyn Burgess Carter (Chris), Titus Burgess, Jr. (Ashley), Emily Rakes Woody (Eddie) and Kayla Rakes; and her great grandchildren, Logan, Brynlee, Elizabeth, Mason, Hayden, Parker, Lance, Alexa, Brooklynn, Chase, Alayna, Wyatt, Gunner Titus III (Trip) and Cole.

Even during the pandemic, she would sing gospel music in the hallways. We are forever thankful for the love and community at Autumn Care that was provided to her during the pandemic and the last years of her life.
