She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Davis and Anne Davis; her son David Godsey; and her sibling JC. She is survived by: her husband Bob (Robert O. Godsey Jr.); her children, Brenda Martin (Tim) of Appomattox, J. T, Carter (Angie) of Rustburg, Kristi Woods (Terry) of Appomattox, Karen Roach (Byron) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Kendell Godsey (Sherri) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Keith Godsey (Sharon) of Concord and Kelly Cleland (Skip) of Middletown; and her sisters, Sarah Taylor (Earl) of Lynchburg and Carolyn Smith (Sonny) of Appomattox. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and her special nieces and nephews.
