It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Jay Burns of Rustburg, Virginia, who passed away on November 25, 2022, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Wanda Snedegar and Dennis Coldiron. He is survived by: his wife June Marie Burns; his children, Kyle Owen (Carolyn), Matthew Burns (Lauren), Michele Barnes (Matthew), Amanda Musgrove (Brian), Casey Owen (Olivia) and Gabe Burns; his grandchildren, Nicole, James, Nolan, Grace, Addie, Kylie Owen, Preston, Bennett Barnes and Ryker Musgrove; his siblings, Velvie Bennett, Anthony Burns, Howard Coldiron, Mary Katherine Naillon, Debbie Windsor and Mark Burns; and his pet Nala.
