He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Francis Charlton and Flossie Gilbert Charlton; his wife Audrey Herndon Charlton "Mutt"; and his sister Elizabeth Mitchell. He is survived by: his children, Sherry Davis "Squaky" (Tim), Terry Charlton (Hazel), Curt Charlton "Chip" (Melinda), Vickie Callands (John), Lisa Wilson (Pastor Marcin) and Kathy Cook (Milton); his sister Shirley Herndon of Bronx; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Fore (Robert), Alma Herndon and O'Lander Herndon (Ivy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and devoted friends.
