She is survived by: her son Robert Daniel Thompson (Linda) of Rustburg; her grandchildren, Ryan Daniel Thompson and Sally Faith Thompson; her nephew Pete Thompson; and her nieces, Teresa T. Akers (Roger) and Lisa T. Tribble (Edward).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or New Chapel Baptist Church.
