She is survived by: her children, Nelson Tharpe (Ashley), Norman Tharpe and Tammy Henderson (Les); and her grandchildren, Anna Thomas, Emily Tharpe, James Tharpe, Sara Tharpe, Rachel Tardy, Calvin Tharpe, Tucker Tharpe, Gina Hamilton and Christina Falaballa. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
