Lera Emerson Wade Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 24, 2021, at the age of 89, Lera Emerson Wade of Rustburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Emerson and Susie Keatts Emerson; and her brother Roy Emerson. She is survived by: her husband George E. Wade; her daughter Joyce Ann Wade of Madison Heights; her godsons, Scott Reynolds (Heather) of Altavista and Mike Reynolds (Pam) of Aldie; her grandchildren, Ashton, Tyler, Braeden, Raegan, Claire and Emma; and her sisters, Estelle Yeatts of Hurt, Doris Adams of Altavista and Edith Keesee of Lynchburg.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Tree of Life Ministries, 2812 Greenview Drive, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
