It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leland Francis Dittman Sr. (Rustburg, Virginia), who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Leland may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He is survived by: his wife Lenore (Sadtler); his children, Lee Jr. and Lisa Fowler (Steve); his grandchildren, Heather Ribeiro (Paul), Mikayla Dittman, Stephen Fowler Jr. (Randi), Abigail Fowler (Paul) and Olivia Fowler; and his great grandchild Micah Ribeiro.

A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Baptist Church (968 Village Hwy, Rustburg, VA 24588).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in Lee's memory.

“Pastor Dittman has always held a huge place in mine and Mike’s hearts. The wisdom imparted from a man who was truly transformed by the power of God lives on. Many teachings and life lessons that God used to reach my “baby Christian” heart came from this precious man. Matthew 25:40 rings true as I remember him. Pastor's love for God’s living word was contagious...I cannot thank Him enough that I “caught” what he had. Precious family that he leaves behind, we mourn and rejoice with you!”
