He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Cyrus Litchford; his parents, DeWitt T. Litchford and Sallie Rosser Litchford; and his siblings, John Arthur Litchford, William Husie Litchford, Nancy L. Totty and Wilmouth L. Scott.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Hannah, Jacob and Randy; his child-in-law Enforcement; his son John D. Litchford; his granddaughter Angela L. Owens (Randy); his great grandchildren, Hannah N. Owens and Jacob W. Owens; his sister Edith L. Cyrus; and his sister-in-law Annie C. "Sis" Morris (James). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
