It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Mays Tuggle of Rustburg, Virginia, born in Bedford, Virginia, who passed away on October 14, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene A. Tuggle; her parents, Walter Carrington Mays and Thelma Ayers Mays; and her brother Walter "Jimmy" Mays. She is survived by: her son David Mays (Roberta) of Lynchburg; her stepgrandchildren, Chris Shade (Donna) and Beth Jenkins (Brian); and her sister Shirley Mays Rice (Joseph) of Rustburg. She is also survived by five step great-grandchildren, two step great-great-grandchildren.
