It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Edell Wade of Rustburg, Virginia, born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on September 5, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Brown Wade and Lillian May Childress Wade; and his wife Lera Emerson Wade. He is survived by: his daughter Joyce Ann Wade of Madison Heights; his godsons, Scott Reynolds (Heather) of Altavista and Mike Reynolds (Pam) of Aldie; and his grandchildren, Ashton, Tyler, Braeden, Raegan, Claire and Emma.
