She is survived by: her son Ellis Tyree (Christian) of Hurt; her stepson Jerry Johns, Jr. (Paula) of Douglas, GA; her sisters, Vivian Huffman (Billy) of Rustburg, Carolyn Wooten (Mike) of Spout Spring and Elgie Harvey (David Farmer) of Lynchburg; her grandchildren, Nicholas Tyree, Matthew Tyree, Penelope Tyree and Ashley Johns; her niece Delores Ferguson; her close friends, Becky Cyrus and Debbie Langley; her pet Sprinkles; and her close friend Blackie. She is also survived by other loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church in Rustburg.
