Cheri Lynn Grant Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cheri Lynn Grant of Rustburg, Virginia, who passed away on October 8, 2021 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Houston Clodfelter and Nancy Ann Corbett Clodfelter. She is survived by: her husband Timothy Wayne Grant; her children, Michael Stephen Tate (Gina) of Charlotte, Dana Hamrick of Charlotte and Samantha Marie Cash of Rustburg; her stepson Drew Grant (Ashley) of Pigeon Forge, TN; her brothers, John H. Clodfelter, Jr. of Sylva, NC and Jason Craig Clodfelter (Teresa) of Belmont, NC; her grandchildren, Miles Tate, Keegan Tate, Kaydance Grant of Drew, Grant, Jr., Tabitha Grant, Nicholas Grant and Dylan LaMotte; and her friends, Andrea Bradley, Jan Worthley and Calvin Davis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Because Cheri was a cancer survivor, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society http://www.cancer.org. or to St. Jude Children's research hospital http://www.stjude.org.
