He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Lawrence and Benjamin A. Franklin; and his niece Susan Holt. He is survived by: his sons, Benjamin James "Ben" Franklin (Laura) and Brandon Allen Franklin of Northern, VA; his sister Linda Dale Franklin Warford; and his aunts, Frances Reynolds of Rustburg, Levay Hall of Rustburg and Martha Lawrence of Fredericksburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins.
