He is survived by: his wife Mary Sheffey Citty; his sister Mary Jane Citty; his daughter Robin Mays (Vincent) of Lynchburg; and his grandchildren, Bethany Mays of Lynchburg, Aaron Fulcher of Lynchburg and Caleb Ellett (Melanie) of Salem. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
