She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolphus Ryder and Christine McKay Ryder; and her husband Wayne Ramsey. She is survived by: her children, Susan Williamson (Hunter) of Franklin, VA, Sindy McClenaghan (Brian) of Chesapeake, VA, Sandy Brewer (Carl) of Rustburg, VA and Dennis Ramsey (Susan) of Chesapeake, VA; and her sister Judy Brooks of Portsmouth, VA. She is also survived by grandchildren; and ten precious great grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens (4569 Shoulders Hill Rd, Suffolk, VA 23435).

In lieu of flowers, she had requested donations be made to the Hyland Heights Baptist Church Missions Scholarship Fund.
